Bath Christmas Market has confirmed its 2026 dates: Thursday 26 November to Sunday 13 December 2026. Opening hours are 10am to 7pm Monday to Wednesday, 10am to 8pm Thursday to Saturday and 10am to 6pm on Sunday.
Last year the market ran from 27 November to 14 December 2025, its 25th edition. At under three weeks it's one of the shorter runs on the UK circuit, which makes it more manageable for small makers than the seven-week city markets.
What sells at a short, busy market
A short market concentrates visitors into fewer days. That favours stalls that serve customers quickly:
- Clear prices on everything. People won't queue to ask.
- Gifts in a few price bands, so shoppers can pick something within their budget.
- Fast payments, with a card reader that keeps working when the network is busy.
Log every sale and cost as you go. When the market ends you'll know which days and products paid off, and whether it's worth applying again.
Keep the customers you meet
Many shoppers at Bath are visitors from elsewhere. Give them a reason to buy again: a QR code on your stall that opens your catalogue with prices and a button to message you. Read more in Instagram is not your website.
